Working with ads, libraries and templates
This article describes the workflow efficiencies in IVO in terms of how creative files management at the build stage. Design and build workflow in IVO is based on three basic principles: ads, libraries and templates. They are accessed via the Build link in the main nav (admin rights are required for Template editing and management:

How the three principles work together
- Ads - each creative produced in the IVO editor is called an ad and requires a unique name for easy management, trafficking and reporting. Ads are made up of one or more artboards for efficient workflow and to automatically deliver the best ad experience across mobile and desktop.
- Libraries - ads are organised into groups called libraries, to make it easy to keep track of multiple ads for a given advertiser or campaign.
- Templates - IVO provides a full range of customisable templates for all ad formats. Templates can be used directly in the editor to create ads by uploading creative assets (.png .gif .jpg .mp4), or a template can be downloaded to use in Photoshop as a .psd file. Good to know
- Using a Photoshop template allows creative layout and design to be completed locally, then an ad automatically produced in the editor by re-uploading the completed template.
- It's easy to create new ad format templates for repeat use and/or for resale as ad products.
- Artboards enable one ad tag to contain multiple size creatives (e.g. Billboard, DMPU, MPU) reducing the need for multiple separate creatives and ad tags.
- A library can be shared with another IVO user by clicking on the Sharing button from within a campaign.
